Hip Hip Horray! I have the best news! Our home is going to be featured in an upcoming issue of Spaces Magazine. I've know for a little while but wasn't going to let myself believe it until there were actual photographs. I had a less than stellar week the week before last. I'm a little over scheduled, we have had a collection of unlikely problems that hit all at once at Noble Designs, with the last and greatest, my biggest mistake to date, I ordered a sleeper sofa for a client and we can't fit it in the room. As I started feeling sorry myself I made the mistake of putting on a pair of pants that I knew would be a close call and they didn't make it. It was starting to be a quick downward cycle. As I prepared to leave for 2 client meetings I got an email with my first glance of family pictures. I actually looked at the title of the email for quite a while trying to decide if I thought it was a good idea to open it. It could be great or they could be less than great accentuating all my flaws and it could speed up the whirlwind of negativity swirling around in my head. But because I have no will power I opened them and ahhhhh, they are fantastic. There are decent shots of me and the kids and Vince looks great. It reminded me of what's really important and put a smile on my face. Then as if my grandma from heaven was shining down on me I got an email from Zim Loy. The Zim Loy! Spaces magazine editor wanted to schedule photographs of our home. And all was well in the world again :)
We scheduled for 10am Friday morning. So the Halloween decorations came down and the cleaning started. Flowers were delivered 10 minutes before Zim and Aaron Leimkuehler, the photographer, showed up. Randy Neal Florist did a fabulous job on the arrangements. I was giddy like a school girl. I rarely get nervous anymore but Zim can put a little excitement in my belly. I followed them around to see the process and thourghly enjoyed our conversations. Not sure they wanted a side kick, but, I'm going with 'we all had a good morning.' I got to see first shots and they look great. I'm really beyond excited. So keep an eye out for the December/January issue and look for Noble Designs!
