Well it doesn't look much different from my last post but we had the electrical boxes in and the lighting plan was implemented.  This is one of the most important steps in a new build.  It's a time where you can add lighting in interesting spaces and really have an impact on the uniqueness of your home for not a ton of money.  If you miss this early step it's much more costly to go back and add.  I am proud to say in my modest 2600 square foot home I have 20 sconces!  So today's post is a ode to sconces.

This may be my favorite sconce in our home.  It's a key piece in the family room and I love the unique look.

This is perfect you have have tight spot for nightstands.  Don't clutter small tables with lamps but use sconces instead.

Not only does this add functional lighting but it gives the look a richer, well thought out feel.

This room features one of my favorite hanging pendants but also awesome sconces.  I love the unexpected style for a kid's room.
