Pfeister’s Kitchen Remodel Complete! www.saranobledesigns.com
I have working with the Pfesiters for many years now. She got my name from my good friend Amanda Tauscher and we started by putting together a plan for some rooms on the main floor. Dani and JC went to work implementing much of it. A cool wallpaper in the powder room, updated light fixtures on the main floor, etc. They had moved into a home that was really quite well done but pretty traditional Kansas City style with lots of swirls and rod iron. This couple is more modern, young and hip so we made some changes to reflect their style. The kitchen, which I think could of been a hard sell for many, was pretty easy. Dani and, I think, JC wanted it have a fresher look. The kitchen was well done so to many it may have seemed strange but I have to tell you the results are exactly what I hoped for. It’s fantastic. It looks fresh and young.
We used the existing cabinets but extended the sink wall cabinets to the ceilings. We painted them white, replaced the island counter with marble and perimeter counters with a durable quartz counter, changed the hardware and updated the light fixtures. Voila! So here are some before and after pictures.
The traditional style lacked a wow factor and seemed dark. www.saranobledesigns.com The white cabinets brightened the entire space and made the existing floors look better than ever. www.saranobledesigns.com Contrast paient on the island gave us a base to place a marble top which is a showstopper. www.saranobledesigns.com The brass hardware gives a warmth to the space. www.saranobledesigns.com The remodel extended into the butler’s pantry. www.saranobledesigns.com The breakfast nook got a bright update as well. www.saranobledesigns.com
