Market Fun!

Lillian August did not disappoint at Market.  Their rich colors and classics mixed with modern touches made for a line we couldn't pass up.

Hi my friends!  It's been a long time.  But I'm back and excited to share all that has been going on with Noble Designs.  We have a big move, added staff and worked on some amazing projects that I can't wait to share.  For now, I'm posting some long overdue photos from my trip to High Point North Carolina for the furniture show.

Jessica and I went this last April and found lots of treasures.  It was the first time Jessica and I  had gone together.  I normally drag my mother but she politely passed this year :)  I love having her because she tolerates me better than anyone.  We get some great girl time that is hard to fit in otherwise.  I don't have to be polite as I storm through blocks and blocks of showrooms.  And what a trooper my mom is as she follows me around, finds us cocktails, and stays in the "less expensive" hotel accommodations.  The weather almost always rains on us but we both come back tired and happy.  So this partner change made me a little nervous.  I'm happy to report it worked out really well and poor mom...we got a great deal on a sweet hotel.  We had the easiest commute to market ever, best suite room (still at cheap price but there was a last minute cancellation), and the most beautiful weather ever.  Sorry mom.  It was great having Jessica along to discuss ideas and scout for clients.  I even think I behaved the whole time but I'll let Jessica confirm.

We continued to see brass as the finish of choice.  Glam was in with crystal.  Traditional pieces with bright color for pops of modern could be seen in our favorite showrooms.  So here are few pictures to share.  Tomorrow I'm off for Atlanta for the next market.  So stay tuned for more trends.

Noble Designs makes Kansas City Spaces Magazine Again!

Melynn and Dan Sight's kitchen designed by Noble Designs!

I'm so excited to announce that my work is featured in Spaces magazine again!  This time the Sights' home is showcased as one of "6 kitchens that wow."  Melynn and Dan Sight were some of the kindest clients I have ever had.  Which means I got the chance to do a gut job on a kitchen which is one of my favorite projects, they implemented what was designed, it turned out beautiful and I got patient, kind, clients that made the process a joy.  For the cherry on top, it's featured in this month's magazine.  So be sure and check it out.  Aaron Leimkuehler's photographs show off the beauty of the space.
